Bradenton is a city located in Florida, USA. It is also the county seat of Manatee County. The city has approximately 60,000 inhabitants.
Bradenton is situated on US 41 between Tampa and Sarasota - the area is surrounded by both fresh and saltwater roads. Bradenton is on the mainland and is separated from the outer barrier islands of Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key by the Intracoastal Waterway. From the city, it is very close to Sarasota-Bradenton and the international airport. Bradenton is also connected to St. Petersburg by the Sunshine Skyway bridge.
Tropicana Products, Inc. is an American multinational company that mainly produces fruit drinks and is headquartered in Bradenton, as well as Champs Sports, a nationwide sportswear chain and Bealls department store chain. The Bradenton Center is a neighborhood of offices and workplaces. The tallest business building is the Bradenton Financial Center.
Village of the Arts is a special place in Bradenton. It is a restored district located directly south of the city center, where, thanks to special zoning regulations, residents can live and work in their homes.
Historic estates in the city include the historic Braden Castle Park, the Bradenton Bank and Trust Company Building, and the Bradenton Carnegie Library.
